SR 520 Evergreen Point LID

In 2015 Salinas was contracted by KGM to perform the time sensitive concrete installation of new road construction and shoulders under the Evergreen Point LID in Medina, WA. This work needed to meet IRI smoothness profile yet still be performed in only two weekend closures. Through Salinas’ Leica driven stringless paving system Salinas was able to accomplish both. The surface profile in the LID existed on 4 different alignments and only through digital modeling could this work even be performed. 10,500 SY of .92′ PCCP pavement was installed during this extended closure. Salinas Construction is top rated contractor for highway construction in the PNW region.
